Signal Control Cables

Signal control cables are used for transmission in electronic control systems. The main task of signals is to transmit data in the system. It is produced according to the German standards VDE 0812 or VDE 0815. It has an operating voltage of 300/500 V and an operating temperature of -30°C to +70°C. It is used where mechanical stresses are low. PVC, Polyethylene, Halogen-Free Thermoplastic are the preferred materials for insulation and sheathing. Due to the class 5 of the conductor and the materials used in its structure, they can be easily applied in narrow spaces with their flexible structure.
 
Today, the development of technology communication and control systems have become more complex. Electronic devices and motors in industrial and production areas can cause delays, errors and interruptions in the transmission of signals with electromagnetic interference in the environment. Insulation in cables alone cannot prevent signal interference. Therefore, it is important to provide appropriate protection against the effects. It is the shielding that provides protection in the design elements in that, have types with shields against electromagnetic effects. Foil shielding ensures continuity by completely wrapping the aluminum tape around the core and contacting the tinned copper drain wire. The drain wire is used for the ground connection between the shield and the circuit. Foil shielding can be applied individually, on twisted pairs, triads or quads, or as an overall foil shield.
