Declaration of Performance (DoP) / CE Marking and Labeling

Each company must legally issue a Declaration of Performance (DoP) before driving the     product related market according to the EN 50575 standard.

The DoP is a document prepared by the manufacturer for each product covered by the CPR.

In this document:
•  DoP number (to be provided by the manufacturer)
•  Original product-type identification code (to be issued by the manufacturer)
•  Intended use
•  Name of the manufacturer, registered trade name or brand and contact information

•  Identification number of the notified body
•  Declared performance
•  Signature (Authorized to sign on behalf of the manufacturer)

The Declaration of Performance (DoP) must be available for each product type and accessible     to the user. If the production is finished, it should be archived for 10 years from the date of     completion of production.

The Reaction to Fire Performance Declaration (DoP) has also become necessary so that CE     marking can be attached to materials after CPR, once the CE compliance declaration for the     cable has been previously approved by the LVD (Low Voltage Directive) and the     manufacturer`s declaration of conformity for circulation in the European Union .

The CPR specifies the CE marking to be applied to the product labels in accordance with EN     50575 standard, which information is in what format.
•  CE marking
•  Notified body identification number
•  Manufacturer name and address
•  The first year CE marking was used (two digits)
•  DoP number
•  Reference to the European Standard
•  Original product type number
•  Purpose of use in accordance with European Standards
•  Performance class
•  Release of dangerous substances
